If you are looking for a good read on Jesus and His love for you, I highly recommend The Unfailing Love of Jesus by R.T. Kendall. I thoroughly enjoyed the insights and lessons in this well written book.

Each chapter takes on a new question of how Jesus cares for us. Does Jesus care when a loved one dies? Does Jesus care when we are afraid? Does Jesus care when we misunderstand Him? Does Jesus care when we have no faith? The answer is Yes to all of  these questions and more.

R.T. Kendall used the story of Lazarus, Martha, and Mary throughout the book, which is a wonderful bible study in itself.  We are taught that Jesus understood that each sister had a different perspective on the situation and he loved each sister according to their specific needs. Kendall also shares how these examples relate to us and that Jesus truly cares for us individually as well.

There are also many personal stories included in this book, which I found encouraging.  Kendall has a gift for sharing his experiences while teaching and entertaining at the same time.

The Unfailing Love of Jesus would be a great book to share with a new believer or someone that needs a renewal of their faith. I found it inspiring and comforting. Like a warm hug when you need it most. This is definitely a book that I will read and share more than once!
