I was looking for a good book on the prophet Elisha and came across Double Anointing and I’m so glad I did! This is the first book I’ve read by R.T. Kendall and I was pleasantly surprised. This book is a wonderful study on the life and miracles of Elisha, Elijah’s successor.

Each chapter starts off with scripture and a quote, which I loved. Dr. Kendall has a conversational way of writing that makes you feel like you’re sitting across the table from him as he teaches. He also entertains with heartfelt stories and asks reflective questions to help you on your own walk of faith.

I read through this book rather quickly, mainly because I enjoyed it so much. I now have a better understanding on Elisha’s double anointing, his miracles, and how God can use an ordinary person to do great things.

This might be the first book by R.T. Kendall I’ve read, but it certainly won’t be my last! If you have a favorite book of his, let me know in the comments!
