I found this fabulous book on a table of books my Pastor was sharing with the congregation. I had no idea what a treasure of spiritual guidance I had found! Victory Over the Darkness by Neil T. Anderson is a wonderful reminder of who you are as a child of God. It helped me understand how forgiven we really are and how powerful we are with Christ. It also helped me with my daily walk by giving biblical guidelines in dealing with temptations, rejections, emotional wounds, and much more.

Neil Anderson has a down-to-earth way of writing that teaches and encourages spiritual growth in a positive, biblical format. He includes many true stories from his own pastoral counseling experiences that are relatable and insightful. This is a book I will turn to over and over again on my walk of faith as it has been a powerful weapon against the battles of the enemy and even of our own minds.
