“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6.

Prince of Peace. Lion of Judah. King of kings. Powerful and mighty, yet gracious and merciful. That’s the statement I was trying to convey in this abstract painting I created in fine art acrylics. “Prince of Peace” measures 24”x 30” on a gallery wrapped stretched canvas.

I selected shades of purple to represent His majesty along with hues of green to symbolize our everlasting life with Him. I also incorporated strong lines and soft edges to describe the strength and compassion of our Savior.

This past September, “Prince of Peace” was accepted into the Thumb Area Artists Exhibition, a juried show held at the Starkweather Arts Center in Romeo, Michigan. I was honored to have my art hang in their gallery! Currently, this original painting is available for purchase on my Etsy site.
